Milestones are probably appreciated more in cricket by the fans instead of the players themselves. It has been observed that runs and records don’t matter much for the international stars. These are temporary which make them go down in the history of sports.
In the career of a cricketer, scoring highest runs in ODIs is one of the major milestones as only a few can top the list. There are only a few players who entered the elite 10000-run club since the inception of ODIs. It shows the potential of players who have managed to achieve this milestone.
Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rahul Dravid were the only Indian legends who have achieved that record. India has the highest number of batsmen who have done this. Virat Kohli has become one of the top 5 batsmen who has made the highest runs in ODIs in 2018.
