IPL 2018: Biggest flaws of each franchise

IPL 2018Be ready for IPL 2018, as it kicks off in Mumbai on 7th April. With every franchise selected players in IPL 11 auction which was in January, however, there are some loopholes in the eight teams of IPL this season. Below we have listed the weakness of all IPL 2018 teams .let’s have a look:

1 Chennai Super Kings- The age issue

In this IPL season 11, Chennai Super Kings have chosen to retain their star players including MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja as well as Suresh Raina. If we observe all of them are above 30 as Dhoni is 36, Raina is 31. Jadeja is 29 but has lost his heydays following his dramatic loss of position in the Indian side. Chennai Super Kings were expected to recruit some young players after retaining these three so that this IPL 2018 team can set the stage on fire.  It should be noted that none of its first eight buys are under thirty as Ambati Rayudu, Karn Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Dwayne Bravo, Harbhajan Singh, Faf du Plessis and  Shane Watson all aged thirty or above. This CSK squad will not only play IPL 11 but also will continue to play the next three seasons as well .it is estimated that this chosen squad does not fit for IPL 2018.

2 Delhi Daredevils- A weak bowling line-up

In the existing IPL season, Delhi Daredevils is expecting to grasp the IPL 2018 title, however, been the worst performing team over these ten IPL seasons. They have been noted to make changes for IPL 11 and also there batting line up seems to be good this tie.  They have clutched IPL’s successful captains this time comprising Gautam Gambhir, who seems to be leading them from the front. Though, the bowling side is ignored this time. The team is expected to star Kagiso Rabada, Mohammad Shami, Amit Mishra, Shahbaz Nadeem as well as Chris Morris as their main bowlers primarily. Vijay Shankar or else  Rahul Tewatia could be picked up as the sixth bowler . in IPL’s history, Shami has been observed as missing his games owing to injury. On the other hand, Rabada played just six games till date. Amit is recognized as IPL sensation but he is also now 35 at present. And about Nadeem, he has only picked just 8 wickets in a total of fifteen games. Overall Delhi Daredevils have many reasons to think of regarding bowling attack.

3 Kings XI Punjab- short of full-time wicketkeeper

In IPL 2018 it is noted that Kings XI Punjab has lack of full-time wicketkeepers. However, they have a perfect balance team for upcoming matches. This IPL 11 squad comprises of excellent batsmen like Aaron Finch, KL Rahul, Karun Nair, Chris Gayle as well as Yuvraj Singh. Bowling side of Kings XI Punjab also seems to be good which includes Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel as well as Andrew Tye. They only lack the full-time wicketkeeper this time. They planned to set Rahul behind the wickets as a part-time wicketkeeper. Rahul also has a long history of injuries too which can turn to be the main issue for this IPL squad.

4 Kolkata Knight Riders- be deficient in captaincy candidates

Kolkata Knight Riders regret letting go Gautam Gambhir as he was the most successful captain. They, on the other hand, retained West Indians Andre Russel as well as Sunil Narine. They also grasp overseas players such as  Mitchell Starc and Chris Lynn in IPL 2018 auctions. However, KKR team did not retain Gautam Gambhir this time as he wants to end his IPL career with his home team Delhi Daredevils. Overall they comprise star-studded players in their team but on the other hand lack the person who has experienced in captaincy. All are waiting, who will be selected by this IPL squad as a leader out of Dinesh Karthik, Robin Uthappa, and Lynn.

5 Mumbai Indians- The spin section

Mumbai Indians have lack of spinners this IPL season. However, they will be expecting that lack of quality spinners should not stop them to win the IPL 2018 Title. This IPL squad has managed to retain their core team of IPL 2017 by comprising Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Kieron Pollard as well as Pandya brothers. They made it in Ipl auctions but lack the spinners’ part. There are only some names under the spinners department like Rahul Chahar who is inexperienced as have only played three IPL games. Next comes Krunal Pandya and JP Duminy as latter is a part-time bowler and also could not find his position in the team in comparison to heavyweight overseas players of Mumbai Indians team.

6 Rajasthan Royals- expert bowlers

This time Rajasthan Royals are seen to be entirely dependent on Jayadev Unadkat. In IPL 2018 batting is not a ma Sanju Samson matter of concern for them as their team comprises D’arcy Short, Rahul Tripathi,  Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, as well as Ajinkya Rahane . on the other hand bowling is the main concern as they lack specialist bowlers this time. The bowling section of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 11 will be managed by Ben Stokes, Krishnappa Gowtham, and  Jofra Archer which can be risky actually.

7 Royal Challengers Bangalore- A feeble lower middle orders

The top order batsmen have never been a concerning issue for Royal Challengers Bangalore .on the other hand the lower order batsmen is the matter of concern in all seasons of IPL and always turns out be heir biggest weakness. In spite of spending much on some players  Shane Watson, and Yuvraj Singh they are not much luck to overcome the problem of lower middle order problems .the retention of Sarfaraz Khan was the biggest shock for the team in IPL 2018 auction. None of the players of Royal challengers including Mandeep have any vital experience. Mandeep was observed to be very weak in last IPL season.

8 Sunrisers Hyderabad- The lower middle order

Sunrisers Hyderabad made it in this IPL 2018 by retaining their successful key players Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner. They also spend much to safeguard Manish Pandey and also retained Kiwi batsman along with Kane Williamson. The bowling segment of this squad comprises main T20 bowlers Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. They also have finest youngsters also which includes  Basil Thampi, Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma, and Syed Ahmed. The main concern is regarding the lower middle order. Shakib Al Hasan has not been an effective batsman in the prior season, and on the other side, Deepak Hooda also does not receive many chances to bat. Mohammad Nabi, on the other hand, is not much experienced in IPL. Thus it is said that is the lower middle order clicks this time Sunrisers will be the Squad this IPL.
